Bloomington Meats

Bloomington Meats was opened in the 1960′s as a custom processing market. From the late 1970′s to 2005 the Liesmans, from Atlanta, IL worked at making Bloomington Meats into a custom processing market and retail meat counter, serving fresh meat to the community.

In 2005 we purchased the business seeing it as an extension of our farming operation. Our locally grown beef come to the market selling as wholes, halves, or quarters. Cooperating with local growers, we also bring in hogs that sell whole or by the half.

Manager Mike Tromp has been with the business for over 30 years, bringing his knowledge and expertise to each cut of meat.

We strive to bring you the freshest and highest quality of meats at the lowest possible prices. From bundles, steaks, filets, to over 20 flavored brats!! We only serve choice or better cuts that we cut fresh daily. If you don’t find a cut of meat in our case, just ask, we will be happy to cut it for you! : )

We make our own multi-flavored brats in our store. With over 30 flavors(with a list that keeps growing) available, we are sure you will find one to your liking!

Our homemade beef jerky, beef sticks and beef summer sausages are always hit. We make BBQ pork, BBQ beef, italian beef, pulled pork, as well as meat and cheese trays for all your special occasions and parties. We also carry for our canine friends, fresh bones, smoked dog bones and pig ears!

We also have frozen meats for those who choose to buy ahead or to take with them on trips, camping etc. We have dry ice for a $1 per pound to help you transport your meat! Currently we do not ship any of our meat products, but we are more than willing to help you package any items you wish to ship.
